Caring for Your Fabric
- Wash before you sew. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle before first use to relax the fabric and set the print.
- Use a mild detergent. Choose a gentle, pH-neutral formula. Skip bleach and optical brighteners — they can fade or distort printed color.
- Skip the fabric softener. It coats fibers, dulls the print, and reduces softness over time.
- Wash cool and gentle. Cold water, gentle cycle, like colors. Turn items inside out to protect the printed surface.
- Dry low or line dry. Tumble on low heat or air dry, and remove promptly to limit wrinkles.
- Iron with care. Warm iron on the reverse side; avoid pressing directly on the print or pile.
