Our Story

Good Repeat is an independent pattern and surface design studio with a love of bold shapes, playful color, and unexpected combinations. Inspired by mid-century modern design, Scandinavian simplicity, and a healthy dose of creative rule-breaking, our patterns are playful, sophisticated, and just a little unconventional.

Founder and designer Caroline Okun’s aesthetic was shaped in part by time spent living in Sweden, where Scandinavian design left a lasting impression. But curiosity takes her well beyond any one style or era. From architecture and travel to the fascinating forms and patterns found in biology, evolution, and the natural world, inspiration comes from a lifelong habit of looking a little closer at the world around her.

That curiosity is matched by a lifelong love of dogs. After more than a decade of volunteering with shelter dogs, Caroline couldn't help but bring a few four-legged friends into her designs. Good Repeat also supports animal rescue organizations through donations and advocacy. Because good design can do more than make the world a little brighter — it can make a difference.
